Pillowcases: Closure, Color and How Many

The pillowcases come with an envelope closure, which has no hardware and tucks the pillow behind an inner flap, or a hidden zipper along the edge that closes the opening. Pieces you use every night get washed often, so start with the label: machine wash only items whose care label allows it, on a delicate cycle in a mesh bag. Otherwise wash by hand in water no warmer than 35°C (95°F) with a silk detergent, rinse, press the water out without wringing and dry inside out in the shade.
